We’re fortunate at our Hampshire detailing studio to welcome all sorts of four-wheeled visitors through our doors. As dedicated petrol heads, there are always some vehicles that we get very excited about. That said, every car receives the same level of care and attention, whether we’re taking care of your daily driver or a prized supercar.
Matt and I will often talk about cars we’d love to see come through. So, in this week’s article, we thought we’d share some new releases that we’re most excited about seeing in 2022. Read on for all the details (no pun intended đ).
Cars we’d â¤ď¸ to see at our Hampshire Detailing Studio:
Daily Drivers & Family Cars:
One of the things we love seeing at our Hampshire Detailing Studio are the gadgets and gizmos that new cars are equipped with. Daily drivers and family cars are getting better and better because of the advances in technology. So, it’s always great to see any new releases to check this out. But there are also some cars we can’t wait to see for other reasons.
Many of you who know me will also appreciate I have a bit of a thing for fast estate cars. So, the long-awaited BMW M3 Touring is high on my âmust-seeâ list.
Matt is keen to see the new BMW M2, undoubtedly building on the excellent new M240iâs weâve already seen in the Studio.
Limited Editions:
Some of our clients have ordered and been accepted for the new limited run Toyota GR86 coming this summer. This car looks a look a lot of fun without being ridiculously expensive.
Weâd also love to see some genuinely exotic limited editions. I’m hoping for an Aston Martin Valhalla to drive through the doors of our Hampshire detailing studio. At the same time, Matt has his hopes pinned on one of the 112 Lamborghini Countach due to be released. However, at ÂŁ2.5m each, we expect not many will see regular use.

The Stars of the Show:
The new baby Ferrari looks very exciting. The 296 GTB will be the first V6 engined Ferrari since the 1960âs Dino (which wasnât officially a Ferrari, it was sold under the Dino sub-brand), but with a hybrid power train and over 800bhp, itâs anything but baby performance.
Itâs great to hear excitement about Lotus again; theyâve had their problems over the years but always made dynamically exceptional cars to drive. We hear that the new Emira is a fantastic thing to get behind the wheel of; itâs relatively sensibly priced compared to a Porsche Cayman, and if they get the interior quality and finish right, it has the potential to be an absolute star of 2022.
