We’re delighted that our team has grown over recent months. Graeme Clark has opened Auto Curators Scotland. Graeme (Auto Curators Scotland) offers a full range of Xpel PPF services. He cuts patterns on-site on all sizes of Xpel film. He also installs Xpel Stealth for matt and special finish paints and can protect interior high gloss surfaces. Auto Curators Scotland also offer a full pick up and drop off service. Just like Auto Curators, the team at Auto Curators Scotland are fully insured for road risks on any value of vehicle.
Xpel PPF is perfect to protect your car in the highlands of Scotland. Harsh winters, heavily salted and often poorly maintained roads create the perfect storm for front end damage, (or paint damage in general). The coverage and fit of the Xpel products provide the highest level of protection against this type of damage. Additionally, Auto Curators Scotland is close to the renowned NC500 route. Many local and nationally based tour companies regularly take performance and supercar owners on this route. The team in Scotland are ideally placed to support you with Xpel protective products.
Introducing Graeme Clark @ Auto Curators Scotland:
Q: When did you first discover your love of cars?
GC: I have always been interested in vehicles. However, my interest sharpened when I became aware of the skill of detailing a vehicle to make sure it truly looked its best.
Q: How and when did you first meet Paul?
GC: I first met Paul about 12 years ago. It was at a car enthusiasts meeting held at the Ace Café in London. I had been aware of him through his business and his appearances on TV before that.
Q: What did you do before you became the owner of Auto Curators Scotland?
GC: I come from a construction consultancy background and continue to be the director of a consultancy that offers health and safety advice across Scotland, I have also previously worked abroad in Afghanistan and for the operators of the UK’s major Airports in managerial roles.
Q: How did this past profession qualify you for what you do now?
GC: In short, I think it is attention to detail more than anything else. My career, to date, has been focussed on compliance and getting the best possible results no matter what the circumstances, I believe that transfers well to Autocurators Scotland.
Q: What inspired your move to become a factory trained Xpel PPF installer and open Auto Curators Scotland?
GC: I had watched Paul\’s journey to the same point with his early adoption of PPF within the main business, and his knowledge of the subject was invaluable. Several film manufacturers are present in the UK market, but Xpel is simply the best out there from the point of their product, training, systems and patterns, support and business development.
Q: What’s the best thing about going into business with Paul?
GC: It’s the support of an industry renowned expert in his field. There isn\’t anyone else who is comparable at what he does so the decision to make this move was very easy for me.
Q: What do you do when you’re not at work?
GC: Being Highlands based I have a smallholding (croft) which keeps me busy. We breed wild boar and have small scale agricultural production. I am a keen sporting shooter and enjoy anything outdoors based, even the Scottish weather!
Auto Curators is now open at Unit 13B3 Balmakeith Industrial Estate, Nairn, IV12 5QW with reach across the Highlands of Scotland. They are the only Xpel PPF approved fitting centre for the Highlands.
