You’ve heard of the game Fantasy Football? Well, as professional car detailers based in Hampshire, we are often asked which cars are on our wishlists. So, in this week’s blog article, we’re playing Fantasy Fleet! Read on to discover the vehicles we’d have lined up in our garage if money was no object!
Professional Car Detailers Fantasy Fleet

So, when we were putting this list together, we thought it was only fitting to establish the ground rules.
While we decided that money should be no object, we also thought it was important that our list was realistic in meeting our lifestyle’s needs. Any parent will tell you that you don’t just ferry your children around; there is often a car full of mates, so Paul needed to consider this. And Matt needed to ensure his fur baby had space to stretch out!
Paul’s selection:
The Family Wagon:
For this, Paul chose the Range Rover SVA. He’d love it in dark green with a tan interior. He considers it to be the ultimate family wagon.
Time for Touring:
Paul chose to include a Wiesmann GT MF5. This specialist car manufacturer from Germany hand builds these spectacular vehicles using modern materials and powertrains but maintains a classic appearance. The MF5 uses the wailing, naturally aspirated V10 engine from a BMW M5, one of the greatest road car engines ever made. What a great thing to tour the Italian lakes in this would be!
Fun Times:
As professional car detailers, Paul and Matt work pretty hard at the Hampshire studio. So, it’s only fair we include a car to have a little fun in. And for Paul, that was always going to include some American muscle… Meet the 1968 Dodge Charger 440 Magnum.
This model became particularly famous for the epic car chase scene from ‘Bullitt’, starring Steve McQueen. When most people think of that chase roaring around the streets of San Francisco, they think of McQueen’s classic Ford Mustang. While that was a great car, the bad guys looked much more menacing in their black Dodge, subtly rumbling about until it was time to make the noise!
Time for the Track:
As a lover of driving on track, the right choice, in Paul’s opinion, is a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. He’d likely choose a black one with gold wheels and the essential Weissach Pack that adds the carbon goodies, bucket seats and harnesses.
The Daily Driver:
It’s no secret that Paul loves a truck and American motors. So, for the ultimate daily driver, Paul chose the Ford F-150. In America, the F series has been the best-selling vehicle (of all categories) for 40 years. Getting down to specifics, Paul would select the 2022 F-150 King Ranch, the model made to be luxurious. It has acres of leather interior, Bang & Olufsen stereo, a 4-door cab with loads of space, a vast load bed, and it’s all powered by a 5-litre V8 up front. Too much for the Hampshire roads? No! Perfect!
Matt’s selection:
Life is not complete without a Lambo!
And Matt would choose a 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 in Orange. Remember the start of the film, The Italian Job? Say no more.
The People Mover:
Matt is also a fan of the Rangey; they’re just such a glorious thing! This time though, in Constellation Blue, for a bit of subtle decadence.
Porsches must come in Pairs:
So, Matt is also a fan of a Porsche and felt his garage wouldn’t be complete without one, especially if Paul had one.
But Matt has chosen the 2022 Porsche 911 Turbo S. GT in silver, with a black leather interior. After all, it’s the ultimate classic Porsche combo. There isn’t another car on the planet able to deliver you from one place to another so quickly, safely, and in such comfort. In short, it’s an engineering masterpiece.
K9 Comfort:
Matt chose the 2022 BMW M340i Touring for the very important job of dog transportation. Another subtle, fast and secure way to get around, and being an estate car, it’s perfect for the canine family member while transporting him to his Hampshire (and beyond) walks. While not usually a fan of owning a black car due to the upkeep, Matt reckons that covered in PPF, it would be easy.
And Finally:
Matt’s fantasy fleet wouldn’t be complete without a 2021 Mini Cooper S JCW (F56). It’s sort of cheating because Matt already owns this car, but even when money is no object, he wouldn’t be without one. It’s fun to drive, sensibly sized and even reasonably cheap to run. You can’t ask for more.
